GET TO KNOW THE FOREST

About Dhikala Zone.

Grasslands · River views · Sal forest

Dhikala opens onto the Patli Dun valley, where the Ramganga River meets broad grasslands and wooded hills. Its celebrated chaur gives this part of Corbett a wonderful sense of space, with elephants and deer among the animals that use the landscape.

It is also a place to linger. The historic forest rest house overlooks the river valley, while the approach passes through sal woodland. Choose a conducted canter day visit, or plan a forest stay with its own accommodation and safari permissions.
