About Durga Devi Zone.
Forested hills · River habitats · BirdlifeIn the north-eastern part of Corbett Tiger Reserve, Durga Devi offers a hill-country safari landscape shaped by the Ramganga and Mandal rivers. The terrain adds a different feel to the drive, with forested slopes and river habitats to appreciate along the authorised route.
Birdwatching is a particular draw here. Elephants and otters are also associated with the area, while the rivers support mahseer fish. Bring an interest in the whole landscape, and let your guide choose safe, permitted places to pause and observe.
