1. Our website and our role
Jungle Safari Journey is a private travel service assisting with Jim Corbett safaris, night stays, sightseeing and transport around Ramnagar. We are not a forest authority or government booking portal. Information on this website helps you plan; access, services and availability must be checked for your dates.
2. Enquiries, quotations and confirmation
Submitting a form, calling or messaging us does not reserve a service. A booking is confirmed only after we issue written confirmation identifying the agreed services, travellers, dates, total price and payment terms, and the required payment has been received. Check the quotation and tell us about any errors before accepting it.
3. Prices and payments
Displayed starting prices and package examples are subject to the stated price basis and availability. Your written quotation should identify included services, exclusions, taxes, permit charges, transfers and any service fees. Advance amounts, balance deadlines and payment instructions depend on the arrangement and will be provided before confirmation. Do not send card information or payment passwords through the enquiry form.
4. Safari permissions and entry rules
Permits and forest access are controlled by the relevant authorities. Routes, quotas, vehicle arrangements and sessions may change with weather, conservation needs or official instructions. Provide accurate traveller information through the instructed channel and carry the original ID matching your permit. Transfer, amendment, cancellation and refund restrictions depend on the issued permit and current authority rules. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
5. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Ask for the cancellation terms for every service before paying. Permit, accommodation, transport and activity providers can have different deadlines and deductions; some charges may be non-refundable. Send cancellation or amendment requests in writing with your reference. We will explain the applicable deductions and any eligible refund once checked with the responsible provider. No universal refund period, free date change or refund percentage is promised.
6. Itinerary changes and interruptions
Weather, road conditions, authority closures and other events may affect your itinerary. We will discuss available alternatives when possible. Changes in cost, refunds and unused services depend on the agreed booking terms, supplier conditions and applicable law. An alternative itinerary is not automatically guaranteed.
7. Traveller responsibilities
Please follow forest rules, guide instructions, property conditions and safety requirements. Share relevant mobility or other practical requirements before booking, allow time for reporting and carry the required documents. Travellers are responsible for their conduct and any charges properly arising from damage or rule violations.
8. Third parties and responsibility
Some services are performed by independent accommodation, transport and activity providers. Their relevant conditions will apply alongside the agreed booking. Contact us promptly if a service is not as confirmed so we can help raise the matter. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes your statutory consumer rights.
9. Website material and governing law
Photographs may illustrate an experience rather than a guaranteed room, view or wildlife encounter. Do not reproduce website material without the relevant permission. These terms are governed by applicable Indian law; disputes are handled by the competent courts or consumer forums under that law. Contact us first with your concern and reference so we can try to resolve it.
