SAFARI NOTES
How to Choose a Corbett Safari Zone
Understand the questions that matter when choosing a safari zone.

A zone is a route choice, not a sighting promise
Corbett tourism areas offer different landscapes and access arrangements. Choose with your dates, stay location and travel needs in mind. No zone can promise a tiger, and wildlife moves independently of visitor plans.
Match your stay to your entry arrangements
A beautiful resort can still be inconvenient for a distant entry gate. Check the pickup journey and reporting arrangements before choosing a stay, particularly when travelling with children or older relatives.
Check the permission that matches your plan
A day visit and an overnight forest stay are different arrangements. Ask what your permit covers, who is named on it and which identification you must carry. Do not assume a booking in one area allows entry into another.
Check current visitor information
Consult official forest-authority notices for zone status and entry rules. Phato is a separate regional forest safari offering; it should not be represented as a core Corbett Tiger Reserve zone.
Check current visitor notices with Corbett Tiger Reserve. Transport services should be verified through IRCTC before travel.
